This 21st century perspective describes the history of Buddhism in America and its various influences and streams. The gesture of Myanmar Buddhists giving White Roses to Muslims during Ramadan provides a welcome and inspiring action led by Buddhist monk Bandatta Seidatta, also known as Asia Light Sayardaw, who created the White Rose Campaign as a way to rebuild social cohesion among Buddhists and Muslims in Myanmar.
